Our patented and proprietary OE Axial Flux Motor reduces the weight of the typical vehicle drivetrain in half, and our ultra narrow packaging enables late-stage design-in and retrofit applications for Plug-in Hybrid (PHEV) and full Battery Electric (BEV) applications.

This modular, permanent magnet axial flux motor is unique for its magnetic power variable tuning features. Neodymium is one of several magnetic power options but in many cases, the Orbis Electric motor can use alternatives to expensive rare-earth materials that are subject to volatile pricing, political instability, environmental concerns, and supply chain issues.
